# Billing & Cancellation

Payments are processed by **Gumroad**, which acts as the **Merchant of Record** — it handles sales tax / VAT on our behalf, so you don't have to.

### Two Ways to Buy

You can unlock the paid Editor tools in **either** of two ways — both give you the **same tools, Discord supporter role, seats, and members**:

### What Your Subscription Gets You

Pricing is **per package** and is listed on each package's own documentation and Gumroad page — different packages have different prices. Regardless of which package or plan you choose, a single active subscription always unlocks the **same set of benefits**:

**Monthly vs. Annual** plans unlock the **exact same** benefits — the only difference is the billing cycle. The annual plan is offered at a discount versus paying monthly. See the specific package's page for its current prices.

**Choose your tier — and change it anytime.** Each package offers **five tiers** (1, 3, 5, 10, or 20 seats; members always match). Upgrade or downgrade **self-service** from **Gumroad → Library → Manage membership** — your seats and members adjust automatically on the next verification. ### Free Trial

The **7-day free trial** is the way to make sure the Editor tools are right for you **before you pay anything**. It starts right inside Unity — **no card, no Gumroad account, no commitment** — and unlocks the **full** Editor tools (Graph, Validation, Diagnostics) for 7 days so you can evaluate them on your real project.

The trial is **one per machine**. When it ends, the tools pause gracefully — your Core, build and runtime are never affected.

### Cancellation

You can cancel anytime:

1. Go to **Gumroad → Library → Manage membership** (<https://gumroad.com/library>).
2. Cancel the membership.

Cancelling **stops future renewals** but your access **continues until the end of the current billing period**. When the period ends, the Editor tools pause gracefully and the Discord role is removed — the free Core is unaffected.

### Renewals

* Cancel before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period.
* If you were charged in error (e.g. a duplicate charge, or a renewal you meant to cancel), contact us and we'll review it in good faith.

### One-Time Purchase (Own It Forever)

Prefer to pay once and never think about billing again? Buy the **one-time (perpetual) license** instead of a subscription. It's a separate product on the same Gumroad store.

**No recurring bill, ever.** A one-time purchase never renews and never expires. Your Editor tools stay unlocked and your Discord role stays held — no verification will ever "pause" you for billing.

#### Buying more seats later (add-ons)

Need more seats after buying? Simply buy the **same one-time product again** with the account/email you used the first time. The new purchase **merges into your existing license** and your seat and member limits **add up** — you don't manage a second license.

To end future charges, **cancel the membership** (above) — access continues until the end of the current billing period. Chargebacks/disputes will revoke access. A **one-time purchase** has no future charges to cancel.
